Turning a bachelor pad and sound studio into a 4,200 sq.ft. family home was challenging enough, but renovating a structure with barely a vertical wall and few square corners where designs needed to cover principles ranging from proper Feng Shui to good acoustics, became a feat for both architect and builder alike. Warped roof planes and an exposed structure further complicated matters relating to lighting, fire sprinkler, HVAC and audio/visual systems design and installations. This was one of those complex projects that when it all comes together in the end, the impossible looks simple.
